As the river swells this week we remember our trek last year and look forward to another gathering at the river.
Join us this Saturday, April 1, for our annual walk to the Snohomish River for water. We begin in the Parish Hall at 10:30am with brief prayers. Then It’s a short walk of about 5 blocks to Cady Park where we bless and collect water and carry it back to the church. The water we carry back is purified for sacramental use. It will be used in baptism at this year’s Easter Vigil. If you’re curious about the purification process, you can learn more about the LifeStraw filter we use on the internet.
This is a kid-friendly and dog-friendly event that some of us look forward to every year. So join us for the Walk to Water, rain or shine. You will be on your way home by noon. Questions? Check with Nancy McConnell.
