St. John’s is a vibrant community full of people following various paths of service. There is a place at St. John’s for everyone who wants to volunteer. Here are some sample ideas:
Community Kitchen Meal
Every Monday and Thursday several churches in Snohomish provide a meal to the community at St. John’s Church. We’re one of the several Snohomish churches, we’re near a bus stop and we’re proud to be the home of the Community Dinner.
St. John’s cooks every other month on the third Thursday of that month. Volunteers are needed either on the evening before the dinner for food preparation, or on the afternoon of the dinner to cook, serve, and cleanup.

The Men's Group surverys their members for talents to help with various needs in the Parish and larger community. Call 360-568-4622
Office Work
Folding bulletins, helping with mailing, making copies and other office tasks always need willing hands on weekday mornings.
For more information about volunteering call Fr. Mark Miller at the church office, 360-568-4622.
Creation Stewards
This group has conducted a Bible study related to care of God’s creation and has developed strategies to help lower the church’s carbon footprint. Activities in the past year included making and selling hand-made holiday bags to provide an alternative to wrapping paper, conducting a city-wide, all-volunteer Snohomish cleanup, beginning recycling of Sunday Coffee hour materials and more.
